Colebrook is working alongside other groups in the city to share resources, good practice and influence change.
These are some of the networks we are involved with:
Plymouth Mental Health Network – This network has been meeting since 2008 and supports organisations to work collaboratively, share good practice, raise awareness and challenge the stigma of Mental Health and support future service clients. Colebrook CEO chairs the network and represents on the Strategic Quality Improvement Partnership (SQIP).
Volunteer Co-ordinator Network – Colebrook and Healthwatch Plymouth have representatives on this network and they link with other organisations to support and develop volunteering opportunities within the city. This network meets quarterly and is currently led by the Volunteer Centre.
Carers Network – Opportunity Knocks Timebank has a focus on working with Carers and People with Disabilities and is an active member of the Carers Network which has led to the setting up of a Mental Health Carers Group working with Carers Hub and Heads Count.
Timebank Network – Working with other local Timebanks, Opportunity Knocks has been pivotal in the organisation of two Timebank conferences in the past two years which have enabled other small local organisations to get involved with timebanking.
Colebrook is currently working with other agencies to support developments in:
- A Local Mental Health crisis response and delivering the national crisis concordat
- Safeguarding risk management and creative solutions
- One Plymouth civic action strategic group
